Product Details
1. Product Introduction
The KEYSIGHT N1092B is a high-performance sampling oscilloscope designed for multi-channel optical testing scenarios. With 2 independent optical channels, it breaks the testing limitations of single-channel devices and becomes an efficient testing tool in the fields of optical communication and optical component research and production. The typical bandwidth of the optical channels of this device is up to 28GHz, which can easily capture multiple high-frequency optical signals while maintaining excellent signal accuracy and stability. It performs exceptionally well in terms of wavelength compatibility, sampling rate, and jitter control, accurately restoring the waveforms of multi-channel signals and providing reliable measurement data to users, effectively solving the efficiency and accuracy problems in multi-light signal synchronization testing.
2. Product Features
The KEYSIGHT N1092B stands out in terms of performance and fully meets the requirements of multi-channel optical testing.
Firstly, the dual optical channels and high bandwidth advantages. Two independent optical channels can simultaneously process two optical signals, significantly enhancing the testing efficiency. The typical 3dB bandwidth of the optical channel is 28GHz, which can cover most medium and high-frequency optical signal testing scenarios and ensure the integrity of signal capture.
Secondly, high resolution and flexible sampling rate. The 16-bit ADC resolution can accurately capture signal details, avoiding data distortion; the default sampling rate is 100kHz, and it can be upgraded to 250kHz through the FS1 option. Users can flexibly adjust according to their testing requirements to balance testing efficiency and data accuracy.
Thirdly, excellent noise and jitter control is achieved. The RMS noise level of the optical channel is low. For example, at a rate of 20.625 Gb/s, the characteristic value at 1310/1550 nm is only 5 μW; the residual jitter is less than 200 fs (with LOJ option), effectively reducing the temporal dimension error and ensuring the accuracy of high-speed optical signal timing analysis. At the same time, the device has outstanding sensitivity. At a rate of 25.78 Gb/s, the sensitivity at 1310/1550 nm is -12.5 dBm, enabling precise detection of weak optical signals.
Fourth, wide wavelength compatibility and stable input performance, supporting wavelengths ranging from 830 to 1600 nm. The factory calibrates at 850 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm wavelengths (with a deviation of ±20 nm), suitable for testing various types of optical devices; the maximum non-destructive peak power is 5 mW (+7 dBm), capable of withstanding a certain intensity of optical input, avoiding equipment damage and enhancing testing safety and stability. Additionally, the unfiltered bandwidth of the electrical channel is > 40 GHz (40A option), further expanding the testing capabilities of the equipment, and can also meet some electrical signal testing requirements.
